Rabies Vaccination Held in Tebet Barat

The residents of Tebet Barat Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta admitted happy with free rabies vaccination for pets service.
191 pets were given vaccine
One of local residents at RW 01 Tebet Barat Urban Village, Dian (26), admitted she came to the service to get free rabies vaccination for her two cats.

Tebet Sub-district Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Implementer Unit Head, Ihsan, stated the program was held at RW 01, RW 02, RW 03, RW 05, and Tebet Urban Village Office.
"191 pets were given vaccine during the program from August 27 to September 4, 2024," he stated.
Those pets are 167 cats, 23 dogs, and one monkey. All vaccinated animals are confirmed to meet the requirements, such as being in good health, at least five months old, and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
He hopes this program will maintain Jakarta's predicate as free rabies city.
